Blue Ink Ocean Art by cyrille gulassa

This piece was proceeded by an intense desire to be immersed in a particular shade of blue. I mixed the exact shade my eyes were craving, and set about putting the paint to paper in a way I don’t normally work. In a surprise ending, I felt like I was dipping myself into an ink blue ocean, feeling free, expansive and expressive within the waves of the strokes. I hope too, that this piece gives you a sense of diving deep into what also makes you feel expansive and expressive. May it remind you to feel free!
