This piece is from a series of acrylic on board paintings, where I explore my local landscape. I challenged myself to keep my painting approach quick and loose, while having fun with color, line, and shape. Then, I digitized my image and vectorized it in illustrator, a process that cleans up textures and simplifies shapes, leaving the image with a more graphic feel.
