It has been 7 years since I had a newborn and let’s just say I forgot a lot in that time (like how much sleep do I actually need in order to do my job) and in the time I am trying to remember these thing, I forget to eat. My artwork is my way of processing my experience as a woman and mother and a way for me to work through the pent up energy I often feel. My process is intuitive, guided by impulse and instinct, and is characterized by a flurry of activity. I like to use bold and feminine colors that command attention and have a strong presence.
