Taking Shape Art by Kamala Nahas

Part of a larger study, this piece began as a digital graphic file, was exposed to instant film, and then the film emulsion was lifted and transferred to cotton paper. I explored how rigid shapes interact with the fluidity of the process, with the film adding texture and its unique color signature to a flat graphic image.
