This piece is a combination of a painted cyanotype, botanical monoprints, and found vintage striped wallpaper. I like how it feels like the layers are being peeled back to reveal a hidden world of plants. This piece has its own history inherent in the combination of materials. I work in collage and like to combine found papers with painted papers to creative visual and narrative interest.
